Retreats: Retreat Application

To apply for a retreat, read the following information, then download and print the Retreat Application (PDF File). Applications are accepted in the order received. Payment must be included with the application ($50 is a non-refundable deposit) in order to hold your space.

Payment

If paying by check, download and print our Retreat Application (PDF File), fill it out, and mail it to us with your check for the full amount.

If paying by credit card, download and print both the Retreat Application (PDF File) and Order Form (PDF File). Fill out the application, enter your credit card information on the order form, and mail both forms. You can also FAX them to (585) 669-9573.

Application Acceptance

If you don't hear from us after applying, you've been accepted for retreat. If you wish to confirm your acceptance, please contact us.

Cancellation and Refunds

If the retreat is full and we cannot accept your application, we refund the entire fee including the deposit.

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the retreat begins, we keep the $50 deposit. If you cancel 48 hours or less before the retreat begins, we usually keep the entire fee.

If you can't attend a retreat for which you have applied, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can notify someone on the waiting list.

Part-Time Attendance

In every retreat there are two part-time slots available. If a retreat isn't full, more part-time slots will become available. If this is your first retreat with us, you must arrive at the beginning for orientation and the opening talk.

Single Rooms

Two single rooms are available in every retreat (retreatants are usually housed two to four people per room). For seven-day retreats there is a surcharge of $160 if you request and receive a single room (prorated for shorter retreats). If a retreat is less full, people may receive single rooms without having paid a surcharge.

Please request a single room on your application form. Contact us to confirm its availability. Single rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis — a maximum of four times per person year. Single rooms are available until two weeks before a retreat starts.

Arrival

Please let us know your travel plans by the Tuesday before retreat begins — especially if you need a ride from Rochester. See General Info for more.

Applying for Retreat Assistance

If you want to apply for financial assistance, please download, print, and fill out our Retreat Assistance Application (PDF File). We don't normally provide assistance of more than half the retreat fee. Please mail it with your retreat application. We will inform you as soon as possible about our decision.
