As spring emerges in all its glory, we invite you to join us for another Open Meditative dialogue, to look and listen together with guest speaker Hugh McBride.
Hugh McBride joined Springwater Center in 2009 after attending one of the last retreats led by Toni Packer early that year. Prior to that, he had been a member since 1989 of the Korean Zen Buddhist Temple in Toronto, latterly as a lay resident and teacher-in-training. In the period 2010 to 2012, he cofounded and facilitated the Toronto Association for Meditative Inquiry.
In recent years, Hugh has been an active participant and sponsor in addiction recovery through the 12-step tradition. A retired journalist and corporate writer, he devotes much of his time to pursuing a passion for photography. He lives with his wife Robin in Gatineau Quebec.

Speaking and dialoguing at Springwater Center is different from a lecture or a discussion group where we share what we already know. The spirit of meditative inquiry infuses talks and dialogues with a sense of exploration and discovery, of being open to the freshness of not knowing. Join the program online and experience this for yourself.
Online Open Meditative Dialogues are donation-based events. To contribute in support, a donation of $12 per attendance is suggested. Please use the button below to donate, and choose the “Online Sittings/Programs” option. Your generosity helps keep online programs available for all to attend.
Thank you.
