Summer 2015 News

Welcome back to Tom Klintworth, who served on staff in the 1980’s and who has returned to staff with a wealth of skills–kitchen, horticulture, building experience, and an interest in psychology.

We wish all the best to Bob Bulger, who has worked in the financial office since 2007/8 and who will be retiring and moving to Victor, NY. Bob has generously offered to work on a casual basis until the end of the year to help train a replacement. Our grateful thanks to Bob for sharing with us his financial expertise, good nature and willing spirit for so many years. The Center’s finances are in good shape thanks to his care. Retreatants will miss Bob as he undertook the lion’s share of coordinating during his time on staff.

Fortuitously, Eric Fox is available to train to fill the the big shoes vacated by Bob in the financial office position. Eric brings great up-to-date computer skills and a strong sense of order to the job, and we look forward to working with him.

Over some years, a leak damaged a wall of the Center’s apartment and it had to be replaced. Photos below show the staff effort in late June and July resulting in a new wall.
