Dear Friends of Springwater Center,
With deep gratitude for his decades of service and devotion to Springwater Center, we are announcing the retirement of Wayne Coger as Administrator. He has been doing administrative work since 2008, helping to guide us through the many transitions of this demanding period. His wise presence at the Center will continue, as a teacher in residence, in working on building and maintenance projects, and being an advisor for administrative matters.
We also want to express gratitude for the service of Susan Esons who is leaving staff after two years in the role of Assistant Administrator. Her great heart and generous spirit, along with years of administrative experience and dedication to meditative inquiry, have helped us immensely during this time of change. She looks forward to continuing to contribute to Springwater Center as a volunteer and coordinator of Quiet Weeks.
We want to warmly welcome Mark Bruno as our new Administrator. Mark has been involved with the work of Springwater Center since 2009 in many forms. He has a deep commitment to meditative inquiry, and brings vision for renewing the Center’s vitality for the next generation.
As Co-Assistant Administrator along with Susan over the last months, Mark has been working with staff, board members, teachers, and the membership to begin articulating and understanding our vision for the future. His many contributions are deeply appreciated.
We are looking forward to a flourishing time of growth and evolution, and feel that Mark’s talents, education, and years of experience with intentional communities are a perfect fit, as we enter this period of transition and the welcoming of younger people into positions of leadership in our community. We wish Mark all success in his new role and look forward to working with him as we engage a new generation in our offerings.
